Dr. Bing Li is a full professor in the School of Aeronautics at Northwestern Polytechnical University. He conducted his Post-Doctoral training in 2015-2018 at The University of Akron (Akron, US). He received his Ph.D.at Peking University (Beijing, China) in 2015.He received his Joint-Supervision Ph.D.training at The University of Sydney (Sydney,Australia) in2013-2014.Dr. Li's current research interests include dynamics of elastic/mechanicalmetamaterials/metasurfaces, vibration and noise control, wave mechanics and advanced composites. He has published >80 scientific papers in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and renowned international conferences such as Compos. Sci. Tech., Compos. Part A, Compos.Part B, Compos. Struct., Phys. Rev. Dr. Li is an Associate Editor/Editor Board Member/Topical Advisory Panel Member for five scientific journals including Frontiers in Physics, Entropy, Int.J. Mech.Eng. Appl. etc. He also served as Guest Editor for Sensors, Conference Chair, Committee Member and Session Chair for >15 international conferences,Reviewer for >30 prestigious journals. Dr. Li is elected as the Fellow of IAAM,Vebleo Fellow, Senior Member of Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM) and Chinese Society for Composite Materials (CSCC), Member of American Society for Composites (ASC),and International Phononic Society (IPS).
